Definition of Forgiveness

Look "at".  Feel what that feels like.
Look "past".  Feel what that feels like.

Alternate until you can look "past" without being entangled in looking "at".

Then, look both "at" and "past" (combine the two feelings).

  1. Five years have gone by since the relationship with my daughter and I has been estranged. We love each other still, but trust is not possible. When I look at it, the pain overwhelms me, when I look past it, I only see hope.
