Addiction to Cheating, The "Drug" That Befouls All Relations

Go ahead -- cheat.
Continue to cheat.
Intend to cheat.

Cause cheating to be regarded as fair and necessary.
Cause the Party to be identified with the politics of cheating.
Cheater:  cause yourself to be remembered as a cheater.

The cheater feels cheated and justifies cheating others in misguided revenge.
The cheater reserves the right to cheat.
The cheater feels every counter-action to cheating others as an instance of being cheated.

What becomes of the cheater?
The cheater ever lives in fear of being found out
and counters that fear with brazen audacity.

Does the cheater recognize the face of fear in the mirror,
switched left to right and right to left?

The cheater, addicted to cheating, ever holds on and fall short of repentance.
The cheater feels the false pride and bitter satisfaction of cheating
and at last blames the victims of cheating for the cheater's angst.

Lies, corrupt laws and unfair policies, and guns are the instruments of cheaters and cheating.
Wherever they appear, cheating is afoot.

The cheater uses technicalities to excuse cheating, but is not truly exonerated, thereby.

Know the truth.
Politics, economics and law have become infested with cheaters.
Cuckoos have usurped the nest.

  1. Great post, Lawrence! And yes, so applicable to what is currently coming into our collective awareness through the impeachment trial of Donald John Trump.
