While meditating, when one notices the thought arising, one acknowledges the thought and then lets it fall away. The goal to to not "grab" the thought and run with it, but instead to notice it fully and return focus to your breathing.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15333593295277256873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2629526108993561280.post-83871761528487875782013-02-04T03:05:36.722-07:002013-02-04T03:05:36.722-07:00Events are either in the future or in the past, th...Events are either in the future or in the past, that's it. They can't be in a space in between called 'now' unless the timespan of that space is zero. Events pass instantly from the future to the past. The only explanation for this is that all possible events already exist in the many universes some scientists posit, and we are simply travelling past the events.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10595431647846817807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2629526108993561280.post-3740818049305953512012-06-27T01:34:41.871-06:002012-06-27T01:34:41.871-06:00delays in the brain infer a present. saying i live...delays in the brain infer a present. saying i live in the past only is acquiescing to the delays in my neurotransmitters / process of perception.

past is defined as something that happened already. interesting that something doesn't happen in experience until after i process it.

is the present now or is the present as far into the future as my synaptic delay pushes it?

does god exist, or do i have to imagine first?

i'm trying to get my memories out of my legs, so i can be prepared to journey into infinity with a clear body.

one last magical thought. -- this sentence, for you, is happening right now.

my sources are lsd, schizophrenia, phillip k dick and infinity.kyle.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10975777936894830960noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2629526108993561280.post-83650340791458913572012-05-04T06:36:44.124-06:002012-05-04T06:36:44.124-06:00I have a practice I call the eye of the storm... k...I have a practice I call the eye of the storm... keeping my mind and body together in the dynamic present and my focus away from the cause of emotional storms, namely the dead past, the unborn future, and the imaginary what if and if only present.jiohdihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17648192386231695344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2629526108993561280.post-50121168159502216522012-05-04T06:33:28.159-06:002012-05-04T06:33:28.159-06:00the stuff we experience does take many ticks of th...the stuff we experience does take many ticks of the clock to assemble... about 0.3 seconds give or take...so yes we always live in the past... however many live in the current past of experience plus the past of memory which they are trying to relive and change or analyze to death... the power of now is the power to break free of the tyranny of having your head suck up your past... and the freedom to break free of the fantasy known as the future, which is never what you imagined or feared outside the mundane normal events that have become extremely predictable by habit and lack of anything drastically changing.jiohdihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17648192386231695344noreply@blogger.com
